The Hotel Le Lion D’Or has an old world charm and customer service wholly lacking from modern hotels. It’s in a lovely small village, centrally located in Normandy, with excellent restaurants and necessary shopping within a few short blocks. Train stations is also in walking distance. Locals were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, but the beds are comfortable. I would welcome a longer stay.
Offering quiet street views, Maison Léontine in Bernay offers accommodations and free bikes. Free Wifi is available throughout the property, and Cerza Safari Park is 17 miles away.

The hosts Jerome and Caroline were incredibly friendly and helpful during my stay. They made me want to come back and visit Bernay again. The bed was also very comfortable, especially after a long day of travel.

Second stay here - easy access to bernay on foot, free parking, lovely pool area, fantastic breakfast. The room we had was perfect for a family of four, massive bedroom, fridge and microwave which are very handy when travelling with toddlers. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel
Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Chambre d'Hôtes Les Jardins de Marie, SCI Charles III provides accommodations with a garden and free Wifi.
We were not visiting Bernay. The hotel was an overnight stop avoiding Rouen centre hotels, and the cheap hotels in the surrounding suburbs. Most of which I find ghastly. We ate at the adjacent restaurant, as there was no obvious alternative in the immediate vicinity. An interesting if not inexpensive experience, but hey we're on holiday and would go there again.

Bernay is a lovely quiet town with all the amenities you will need. Be careful though on market days (we arrived on Saturday)the streets are closed to traffic until 3.30 . Would recommend the restaurants at the bottom of the main street very good food and lovely staff.
Staff pleasant, hotel was clean and fit for purpose.
Breakfast was buffet style with good choice which set you up for the day.
Motorcycles were parked outside the main entrance under observation of the reception, attended all night.
Restaurant next door was decent providing choice of options.
Bernay is a beautiful town, Maison Léontine is a short walk to the centre. It is tastefully furnished and spotless. A comfy bed and a wonderful breakfast made our stay memorable. Thanks Anne.
