The apartment was new and fresh, I did not met the host Pauline but she kept me very well informed via mail. To find the appartement was a bit of a challenge as the property on booking is called Bain Nordique but when I arrived it appeared on the sign in front of the appartement as Casa Bellisima so at first I thought I took a wrong direction. But everything was new clean and very comfortable !! Great

Super friendly hosts who are very kind and considerate. I was in the ground floor garden studio and it’s lovely to be able to sit outside or inside next to the garden. Even though the bathroom/kitchen is separate it is private and is so well supplied (oven, hob, microwave large fridge). Free parking just outside and stunning woodland walks from this charming village

There isn’t much open at lunchtime and shops open for a couple of hours in the evening. Not many places to eat so make a reservation and they tend to only open from 7-8.30. Lovely for a stroll around in summer months, not sure what you would do in winter. Crazy golf was fun and the main golf course looked lovely although I don’t play!

Good breakfast but room not great, it is a very ancient building so not unexpected, but they could have mended the broken shower.
Very noisy second night due to wedding party underneath my room, a reduction might have made it more palatable.
It was not what we were expecting - the photos show access to an outside area and say private entrance - we had neither. We asked to move and were told the photos were not of anything that could be available to us. When I suggested somewhere I had seen with outside access we were told it wasn’t clean and so we couldn’t move. I wasn’t impressed with the way the staff dealt with the issue or that rooms are left not cleaned, the hotel had an air of emptiness and a sense of having had grander days. Also no Wi-Fi except on the main building.
The history. Built in the early 1400’s, it was incredible to hear the history of the Château and who had stayed there in the time of the Marquis who built it. Anna looked after us so well. It was very quiet and peaceful there too. We felt special and appreciated the experience. The town of Bélleme is only a few minutes drive away with great restaurants and is worth a walk around. Absolutely magnificent. Loved it!
The rooms in the main hotel building were comfortable, clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable. We liked the fact that there was a restaurant in the hotel. The food was enjoyable and reasonably priced. Breakfast was served in the conservatory with plenty of choice and refreshed regularly. The staff were friendly and helpful including the owner even though he was recovering from a fractured hip.
Wonderful old building and we had a very spacious and comfortable room. Obvious signs of some repairs in need of doing but nothing that interfered with our stay. Leo our host was always available and very helpful. Great breakfast. Limited number of restaurants in Belleme, lots more nearby but involving a drive.
