As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a big smile by Olivier, our host. We were invited to participate in a very interesting presentation on the movement of the planets and their characteristics. Very interesting! The view of the moon and its structural details enriched our knowledge. The location of the house is excellent. The kindness in providing us with croissants, fruit and jam every morning won our sympathy. We will be with you next year. Thank you Olivier.

Olivier is a wonderful host, so passionate about astronomy, so you will be too! We are very thankful for the informative stargazing through the telescope he gave us!

- We had a fantastic stay; I found the gite very charming, well laid out, and spacious. Everything you could think of was provided - basic spices, oil, vinegar, all the kitchen tools needed for extensive cooking... The gite is traditionally furnished with a lot of wood, giving it a very pleasant look and feel.
- The location is fantastic, very well located for exploring the beautiful Verdon. It's also wonderful to relax on the terrace, enjoying the peace and surroundings.
- The host Olivier is absolutely fantastic. He is very active from early in the morning until (very) late at night and always helps you with a very big smile on his face. Hats off to him! Nothing is too much trouble.
- Not unimportant: a good shower with plenty of hot water (we were two people) and a strong spray (though with a shower curtain ;P).
- For the night owls among us (it's really a long wait till it's dark enough in summer :)), there are astronomical sessions where you are guaranteed to learn a lot from the very knowledgeable host and his colleagues. Knowing that Olivier has built this equipment all himself is just insanely admirable.

Location was stunning. The restaurant was exquisite. Our room was snug but had everything we required. Excellent bicycles storage facilities. Staff were all excellent. Would recommend.

Central location with Restaurant on site. Bicycles stored inside. Room was clean and comfortable.
Very charming location and wonderful lake views. No doubt much busier in high season but we liked it very much.
The owners were just charming and very kindly fed us a delicious dinner and breakfast even though the restaurant was technically closed.
Location was perfect with stunning views from restaurant. Rooms were good but ours didn't have a view but were clean , tidy and everything you needed. Perfect first night sleep. Staff were very friendly, helpful and always around. Be prepared for dogs and cats wandering around but they don't approach you or bother you. Plenty of free car parking near to hotel. Good choice of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was excellent with fresh jams, juice and fruit. Rooms decorated in a provencal manor. Very good value for money.
It’s not the most modern of hotels but the location, the views and super friendly staff more than made up for it. We booked for 2 nights but with hindsight we should have stayed an extra day to explore the area around it further.
Our room had a ceiling fan which helped keep us feel cool, but our kids room didn’t so worth requesting one if possible.
The sight to the lake is wonderful. The whole hotel is very cozy and the staff is very kind. We were late the check in, but we got dinner. Before we left the hotel, we got a lot of information about, what we have to see in the area and in the Verdon-canyon.
Wonderful quaint hotel directly overlooking Lac St Croix. Characterful, old style decor and furnishings. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Great food. Very friendly restaurant manager whio provided great service.
