Hotel had a wonderful location-near the beach; near the main thoroughfare but very quiet. Great parking which is always important for me. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. It had a cosy feel and I would definitely stay there again when next in La Baule.
This Best Western Hotel is located 50 meters from La Baule beach in Brittany. It offers soundproofed rooms with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.

Very well-kept hotel with a nice rooftop bar and very helpful and kind staff.
The whole town has a great historical value. If you are a Bicyclist you can travel from little town to little town. The Salt flats are a great Bird watching place or a place to go and draw. The people are great.
We ate at a place called Grelly's Creperie. They have been open less than two week and their food was unbelievable. Plan to walk or bring your bike. I think I would see about getting around on a bike. We put in many walking miles. The Hotel des Marais Salants is a must if your like small cozy places. There is a Salt Museum in town and also the German Blockhaus Museum which are both very well done and worth the time and money. Charming town.

Friendly staff were helpful except for an issue with a sewerage smell from our shower. The breakfast area and some of the bedrooms had good sea views but the cheaper room that we chose was below ground level with no views other than a bank and a hedge. We had breakfast on the first morning but chose to eat out the following morning having suffered from smells from the shower which somewhat ruined our appreciation of the hotel as a whole.

A pleasant place for a quiet break or to work (but beware out that there is no WiFi in the accommodation or in the village). Good weather, wonderful architecture, good beaches, good seafood in Le Croisic nearby, and plenty to see in the area.
The hotel Le Lichen is a magical place. We loved the atmosphere, the wonderful and most helpful staff, having a delicious breakfast looking out to sea…. The hotel is situated on a clifftop with wonderful views of the dunes, the sea and the nearby beach. It boasts a panoramic breakfast room and a very cozy lounge/bar. We only stayed a few days, but we’ll definitely be back - and stay longer next time!
Hotel owner and hotel manager both very friendly and welcoming.
Easy parking.
Close to a nice beach (100m walk)
Calm neighborhood despite being next to a coastal road (this was our experience in early September - may not be the case in the high season)
Bathroom/WC well fitted and of reasonable size.
Lounge and veranda comfortable and pleasant.
Pool table in the lounge area (free use)
This small hotel is at a great location. Quiet, just at the beach, pet freindly. We got a very nice buffet breakfast. There are two very nice seefood restaurants in ten minutes walk. It even has a little private beach if you want. Even in main season was in not overfilled. I really loved it. Really friendly staff.
Lovely little hotel.
Very friendly welcome
Delphine is really kind and helpful.
Parking just outside or very close by
East walk into the lovely little town or down to the beach.
Extremely clean hotel
Bed super comfortable so very good night sleep
