The location. The hotel abuts a vineyard and in a quiet location. The rooms were comfortable, the food was excellent and the staff was courteous and helpful.
In the valley of the Arbois vineyard, in beautiful Les Planches, you will find Castel Damandre at the foot of a waterfall in lush greenery.

Amazing location in the nature park, walking distance to a beautiful waterfall.
Amazing hiking around. Extremely quiet at night. The rooms are simple but functional with a very nice bathroom.
We stayed in the tower so can’t speak about the main building rooms but is suspect they are similar.
Nice fine dining restaurant on site.
If you want to eat somewhere else, you will have to drive 15/20 minutes to Arbois. Easy drive. Overall perfect for 2 nights.

Beautiful location with very friendly staff. Nice swimming pools and lots to see in the area. Breakfast is good and diner is excellent, the hotel has a young and brilliant chef. The view from the restaurant is very nice and together with the food it is a perfect match.
