This was incredible - absolutely felt like staying in an 800 yr old chateaux. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room and the ambience were what made this great. If you have the chance I would definetely recommend this place.

We received a warm welcome from Gael. The indoor swimming pool was a nice treat after a long drive. The house and gardens are a little oasis once you step through the front door. Unfortunately the wet weather meant we couldn't enjoy the outside areas as much as we would have liked but Gael served us a lovely breakfast in the dining area.
The house would be great to share with friends.

The town of Bagnols is very small and quiet. We stayed at the Chateau (a must!) and really enjoyed our time there. We used it as a home base to explore the surrounding towns and countryside. It's perfect.

Songes des Vignes is a charming little village surrounded by vineyards. Equally charming, Alexandra our host could not have been more helpful. We arrived on Sunday evening so the local restaurant was closed. She rang a pizzeria in the next town who delivered us a pizza which we ate in Alexandra’s garden (exclusive to guests) in the vineyard with the most amazing views with a bottle of wine that was produced next door! Bliss! We would definitely recommend highly and will certainly come and stay again when travelling through France…

The Castle has been done so well, Everything is perfect, the view is stunning, the rooms so romantic.
The restaurant is also beautiful.

The pictures do not do the property justice. This is so much more than just a hotel, it is an overall experience. Next time we will definitely stay longer and perhaps enjoy the SPA.
