Perfect location for exploring Normandy … close to all of the sites we wanted to visit. We were warmly greeted by the owner on our arrival, who personally showed us around and made sure we were comfortable. We decided to eat dinner here and were treated to an excellent gastronomic meal. My only regret was having to leave the next day. The breakfast buffet was especially good – lots of home made dishes and good coffee. Our rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean and well-decorated. A real find!

Our room was very comfortable and relaxing, with a great shower-room and facilities.
Breakfast was really delicious with home made jams; a real home-made treat. Lovely table settings, linen and crockery; all enjoyed looking out over a beautiful, peaceful walled garden. A charming, friendly hostess who made us very welcome.
Free, convenient parking on-site, all within easy walking distance of the town centre for good restaurants and Avranches Castle.

The room and en suite were clean, slightly on the small side and you couldn't open the wardrobe door if the bathroom door was closed (although) once you realise this it is not a problem). Breakfast was good with lovely home made jam and plenty of bread and croissants etc, Parking available and within walking distance of the hotel. Located just at the war memorial in Avranches so very good location.
Hotel was 2 separate buildings well apart. We were in the older one which was very nice - with the conservatory. Newer one appeared to have several rooms and looked down to the water feature. Presumably they came to the main building for breakfast. Nice room with blackout shutters. Well furnished. Staff helpful.
Set in a quiet location, Three bedroom house with all the facilities required should want to self cater. 15 minute walk into the centre of Avranches.
