Lovely setting and gardens. Beautifully renovated rooms and exterior.
Buffet breakfast was first rate and good value for money. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was closed on the Sunday we visited but the reception sent recommended local restaurants by email. Could perhaps do with fridges in room and possibly a mini bar/honesty bar to cope with
Sunday when the Hotel bar is closed.
A lovely, well-appointed, small hotel, with good breakfast and pleasant grounds. Everything closes before 10 so there's no service or much guest activity after that (which make the evening very quiet).
We absolutely loved this hotel. We enjoyed it's historical heritage and it's soothing atmosphere. Breakfast was great and the room was charming. Wonderful gardens.
