Idyllic. The location of this little hotel is lovely. It's within the village and someone's home. I has a lovely feel to it and our host was lovely. She made us feel welcome straight away. Our room was for a family, with a double and two singles. Plenty of space.

Beautiful setting and stunning property. Anna was a lovely host and we felt very welcome.
We stayed for 2 nights and on the first night we ate there. The food was delicious and we ate food we wouldn't usually choose.

Clean room, pleasant staff, aircon, reasonably modern, walking distance to old town/cathedral etc.
Cathedral is great. The roman ruins are pretty good.
Cathedral is great. The roman ruins are pretty good. The town is wonderful to walk around in. In the evening everyone was gone and the streets were quiet and wonderful. The old town is just what you would think old France was like. We only explored half of it, so we are coming back on a future trip!

Easy to visit Roman remains, all free of charge. Bibracte Gallo-Roman centre nearby too. Many interesting villages close by and some interesting insights into life on the canals in times gone by in Grignon and district. Free parking everywhere.

Autun is a lovely town in a tranquil setting. It is full of intersection, and not it the famous cathedral carvings and reliefs. The people are friendly and welcoming and there are good places to eat and drink.

This city surprised us with the amount and quality of its monuments and history. Do not miss the museum! Incredible works of art from the Roman era, medieval, renaissance, and more.
Parking can be a challenge in Autun. So leave the car if you can.
Also, don't miss the Morvan region and Bibracte.
Convenient check-in, there is a contactless option. We arrived after 21:00, which was notified of the hotel in advance. They sent us a door code and told where the room key would be.
Breakfast is ok, but we would appreciate having boiled eggs:-)

The hotel was in the old city close to the Cathedral and our room had a double aspect with views over the countryside as well as the Cathedral. It was very quiet with a delightful terraced garden. The breakfast was great with a wide choice.
Very nice and sympathetic hostess, beautiful palace in the middle of the old town of Autun with charming courtyard. The decor and furnishings of the rooms were very aesthetic and with great attention to detail. We were highly satisfied.
