Only 15 minutes from CDG airport, 40 from Paris by RER. Southwest of the train tracks is a tree-lined high street, with shops including a butcher, fruit/vegetable store, and traiteur. There are also a Monoprix and Picard stores. Restaurants include French food (very good creperie) and ethnic food. We encountered a Thursday morning flea market. Some buildings date back to the late 1800s. A feeling of a town from the past.

We stayed one night in Aulnay-sous-Bois just because our flight was delayed and we needed to be near Paris CDG airport. But what a delight! We found little shops and restaurants of all kinds. We don't speak French but everyone went out of their way to help us. The center of the town has gorgeous vintage homes. And it's only 20 minutes from central Paris by train. Enjoyed our stay so much.

I walked from the Aulnay train station to the hotel. The area is not very lively but there a couple of restaurants nearby. Staff are really helpful, I appreciated it. I had a double room and it was a good size (for Parisian standard), it would be small in other cities. Bed was comfy.
All in all it is a good option if you are travelling to Aulnay
The hotel is a basic stopover hotel but the room was clean and comfortable, plenty of hot water with a good shower and the breakfast was delicious ( as much coffee as you wanted, really good scrambled eggs and bacon, delicious bread and croissant selection, orange juice, yoghurt etc) a nd all for an incredibly reasonable 8.5 Euros.
Didnt have breakfast as we wanted to be up and on our way to the slopes. Hotel served its purposed with the biggest bonus being 24 hour check in and reception.
Nothing I left the place and went to another hotel
