Aubenas is just a very nice, small city, with an old center.
Aubenas is just a very nice, small city, with an old center. It has an old castle in the center, and there are plenty of very good restaurants. Watch out: you have to reserve a place for lunch or diner in almost every restaurant! We recommend restaurant Notes de Saveurs in Rue Nationale 16. In the neighborhood there are much more nice old villages or small cities.

An excellent facility for the price and would have no hesitation in booking again if visited Aubenas, however, this town is unlikely to be on a list for a repeat visit nor would I recommend unless with specific intent. A good place to rest while in transit to other places.
Basic budget hotel in a light industrial area a walk from the centre. Very helpful staff when they are available. Reasonable breakfast. If I stayed again I would probably choose the Ibis opposite with the swimming pool (it was 30+C)
Good to have the swimming pool. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice. Clean well maintained hotel. Room was spotless and beds were comfortable. Good bathroom/shower. TV good.
Great location excellent views staff fantastic - rooms v high standard - the pool is heated and looks great - its a fabulous hotel and the airconditioning is excellent
