This house looks like it just came out of a fairytale. The host was very welcoming and the atmosphere was magical. The room was sparkling clean and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend it, would definitely come back.

Our family of 4 adults and 3 young children (8, 5, 2 years) had a wonderful time here for 4 nights. The layout is certainly different and we saw it as a really creative modern use of space. We really enjoyed it. The activities: we booked with Overlord Tours to see the D-Day sites. We also drove to Deuville one day, and the Arromanches Dday museum another day. We had a nice combination of eating at a restaurant and eating at home. The food: since it’s on the beach, it’s a bit remote so we stopped by Carrefour (big store) on the way in. The we walked 12 minutes to Carrefour City (little store) and the bakery in the morning for amazing croissants, coffee, and bread. The location: the views are stunning. We spent a lot of time on the deck. It was nice to be able to walk directly down to the beach, and have the older kids go down one their own while we watch them from the deck. When it’s low tide, the beach is amazing and so wide. At high tide, the water comes up to the house! The rooms: There is one bedroom that is completely enclosed with a shower and bed. Then there are two connecting rooms that can also be closed off from the rest of the house, and an upstairs loft room that is a bit more open. All the rooms have complete shut out shutters for a fully dark room. On the last day one of the shutters stopped working in one of the rooms (we think it was the battery), but there was enough space in the room next door to move our kid over. A few tips: if you drink coffee, bring Nespresso coffee pods! The pots and pans are pretty good for cooking, so bring anything you might want for cooking. Carrefour hand some pre-marinated meats that were great. The washing and drying machine are great. We brought our own detergent but there was some extra powdered detergent there.

Absolutely GORGEOUS!!! The property is located near the Normandy beaches. The staff was incredible, the rooms are beautiful and you cannot beat the price!

Beautiful, natural and clean

The Domaine is near Bayeux and the Normandy Beaches, yet tucked away in a quiet country location. The breakfast was great, and the room was a very nice size with a cozy sitting area. I will recommend this one

Beautiful property with the main building right on Juno Beach. Fabulous evening meal restaurant. Nice to have access to a sauna during the stay! Very engaged management team that keeps the operation tight!

The staff was so friendly. The food in the restaurant was fresh and delicious. My room was huge and comfortable. I loved all the old and tasteful furniture. An eclectic historical building in a lovely village.
