For us, the greatest thing about this place was the wonderful host - Claire-Anne. Not only did she agree to our late arrival from Newhaven, but she was such a lovely person. Interesting, caring and such a warm, likeable personality - we felt so welcome.
Our room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely view over the large garden to the rear.
The area was safe and quiet and the off street parking a bonus as our car was fully loaded.

Hotel is out of town but easy to find (albeit up a long steep hill if you’re cycling). It was very clean and comfortable. Day receptionist let us leave our bags whilst we went out cycling (we had arrived early by bike). Evening receptionist was extremely helpful in providing extra coffee and linens for the sofa bed. Conveniently had a McDonald’s next door (handy if you’re too tired to cycle anywhere else)! Fantastic secure bike storage too.

Handy for the ferry terminal at Dieppe - just 9km. Quiet interesting village twinned with Uckfield in Sussex. Fantastic 'cat-experience' creperie just down the road called 'Le Henri Cat'. Only go if you love cats.

A quaint old chateau , close to Dieppe ferry port , the ladies that looked after us at the hotel and in the restaurant were wonderful. The pictures don't do this place justice . The rooms are large airy and comfortable, the staff made sure your stay was as pleasant as possible
Beautiful gardens were a treat to walk around. Our ground floor room was a good size and very comfortable. We ate at the restaurant which was typically French and of a good standard. Appreciate that the hotel was so pet friendly. Definitely would recommend and return.
Large and comfortable room. Owner kindly stayed up late to receive us from the late night ferry arriving in Dieppe. Much better place to stay than the sterile hotels on the outskirts of Dieppe. Excellent value.
Lovely historic, peaceful location with a walled garden which made it very relaxing. Definitely an experience of a more unusual hotel. The evening meal was also very good.
