Staff was warm and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were delicious! The town and environs are charming. Ask for a room with Mountain View. It’s gorgeous. The shower doors even close all the way, which is hard to find in many places, so the bathroom floor stayed dry.

Argeles-Gazost is a good size town with a range of restaurants and shops plus a big market on Tuesdays (food & other goods). Away from the old town there are supermarkets and other shops.
Our favourite place to eat dinner was Cafe-Hotel Les Fleurs. The local bakeries were all good but Patisserie Vignau Jean had the most impressive choice of cakes and tarts. Another find was the microbrewery "La brasserie du pays des gaves" who offer charcuterie boards alongside a range of beers.
We made use of the local busses to access walks near Gavernie (seasonal service) and Cauterets for Lac de Gaube & Pont d'Espagna. On a future visit would love to explore the valley by bike along the greenway.

Nice hotel with good parking and friendly, helpful staff. The building itself is pretty smart and spaciously laid out. The hotel is a short distance from the centre of town, but we ended up staying in the bar and ate in the restaurant. The meal was very good, although the restaurant itself is a little plain, lacking soft furnishings or plants, hence little atmosphere. As it happens, we met some interesting guests there, cyclists and motorcyclists, so our stay felt very sociable.
We booked a the 3 bedded room with kitchen corner and balcony for our 6 night stay. We had plenty of space and a phantastic view down the valley. The hotel is conveniently located for accessing local public transport and the historic centre of Argeles-Gazost with many shops and restaurants. We used the bus to go walking around Gavernie (seasonal) and Cauterets.
Very nice hotel with clean rooms that had all the facilities I needed. Just off the main road and scout 5 minute walk from the historic centre of the town.
The owners were very nice and helpful. There's gated motorcycle parking.
Breakfast was excellent, as was the room. An ‘old’ style of hotel, but very good. The staff were excellent, very helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean.
