Very cozy hotel, doubling as a restaurant (one can have breakfast & dinner here), a couple minutes walk away from everything in town (shops, restaurants, bars, groceries). Also waking distance from the ski lift. Great view from the room.
A very nice salon/reading room to relax in; and a nice shaded terrace (we were there in the summer).
Friendly staff.
Adequate parking space provided by the hotel.
The food from the restaurant is excellent, made with fresh products.
This hotel is set in Hauteluce in the Rhône-Alpes and has direct access to the ski slopes.

Everything! From the superb location to the delicious evening meal, plus friendliness and sympathy of the couple who owns the hotel, the coziness of the room overlooking the forest ( but if you choose you can also pick one of those with the amazing view of the valley and mountain range) , the furniture overall (which you can guess every detail has been chosen tasteful and carefully) , the soft touch of the bed linen…there’s even a special room for little ones with books and entertainment toys. Last but not least, it’s ski-in ski

Stayed one night there, Hotel,is a bit dated with old carpet on the stairs. But it is what you pay for. Our room was a bit tiny with a small bed. But we are quite tall (1.80-1.85). It is a fine hotel for passing through. Please note there is no elevator but the stairs are good. meaning not to steep or small.
The restaurant is good! price- quality is ok and the the food is great.
Nearby the hotel is a small supermarket and bakery.
Hotel: Cleanliness of room, comfortable bed and excellent en-suite shower and very friendly staff. Ski resort: absolutely outstanding skiing conditions and general facilities in the village. But during school hols/half-term probably overcrowded.
