A great hotel right in the middle of the quaint Arbois town. It does not open until 3pm, but the owner kindly let us put our heavy bike clothes in the bar while we walked around. The room was spotless, and the shower was great. Best of all was the AC, as even in Sept the weather was hot.
For bikers, there is a locked garage just 100m away, big enough for maybe 10 cars / bikes - perfect !

The spa facilities in the room are great and the room is well refurbished. If you want to enjoy a jacuzzi and a sauna right in your room, it's really a great option.

This is a great quirky spacious property with a beautiful view of the river. Claire the owner was helpful with advising on parking and places to eat. The big bath tub was a joy with plenty of hot water.

The city and surrounding area was simply charming.
The city and surrounding area was simply charming. We were there on market day and that was a real treat. Local shops were friendly and interesting. We visited Louis Pasteur home and had an interesting tour. Our B&B hostess recommended a local restaurant that was wonderful and we had read about a nearby castle/hotel with dining which was also way beyond expectation. Everything was a great value. The town is very walkable.

Arbois is a pretty little town set among vineyards.
Arbois is a pretty little town set among vineyards. Its main claim to fame is that it was where Louis Pasteur undertook his first experiments and the house where he lived is open to the public and well worth a visit. There are plenty of restaurants in the town and the Bistronome is one of our favourites. All serve the local wines which are not well known outside the locality and will come as a pleasant surprise.

A cute town, with plenty of restaurants and cafes.
A cute town, with plenty of restaurants and cafes. The centre of the Arbois wine area, with a good selection of wine shops if you need to buy Arbois wine. Not many 'sights' in the town, but we used Arbois as a good centre for visiting local areas, like Gorges du Herisson, Besancon, Dole - don't go there on a wet Sunday !!) and other natural sights, all of which were a delight. Our first visit to the Jura. It's beautiful, and at the time of year we visited (September) the weather was good but not too crowded with visitors - I'd imagine, based on the amount of holiday home locations we encountered, that July and August would be very very busy.
very nice and charming house, great common spaces such as garden, terrace, eating room, cellar, etc. Super friendly personnel that made us feel at home immediately. In the heart of the small village of Arbois so all is walking distance. Excellent recommendations and a great place for wine lovers because of the connections with wineries in the region.
The house is located 2 minutes away from an excellent restaurant, Bistronome, and 5 minutes away from the centre of Arbois. The house has been beautifully restored and the interior design is exceptional, with many interesting objects. It is in a very quiet road and there is off street parking.
Good sized comfortable well furnished apartment in lovely small town of Arbois. A great deal of thought has gone into
decorating and furnishing the apartment. Immaculately clean and very comfortable bed. Exceptional value for money.
Restuarant downstairs excellent.
We had a room on the first floor with a window facing the inner courtyard. The room was very peaceful. The owner of the hotel spoke excellent English and she was very helpful.
