Comfortable room, nice and helpful staff. Close to bus station, cafes and groceries. Didn't have breakfast but coffee was good :)

The reception is nice, the location is right at the entrance to the old town, it was clean
The Sainte Anne Hotel, a 19th century family home, is located on the Faubourg du Ballet Plaza of Apt’s quiet historical old town. All of the en suite rooms are air-conditioned and soundproofed.
The hotel is situated in the region of Vaucluse between Lubéron and Ventoux, just 10 minutes from the city centre of Apt, the world capital of candied fruits.

Perfect place to explore Provence, it's right in the middle.
Perfect place to explore Provence, it's right in the middle. In the town you will find the basics: supermarket, some restaurants, others. The old towncenter is nice, and late afternoon (not on marketday) we found good parking facilities.
Tip: google maps doesn't know that some streets in the old town are closed and it navigates inside impossible places. It's better to park next to the river and walk 3 minutes to the center.

The town of Apt serves as a great base for exploring...
The town of Apt serves as a great base for exploring Provence. We planned a long stay to really cover the area and the smaller towns we wanted to visit was an easy drive from here. There is free public parking in the main town center although overall I would consider Apt a quieter town with little to do at night. We usually ate at another village or had dinner in the flat. There were many shops around. Summer 2022 was exceptionally hot so returning midday to the flat to cool off then venture out again in the early evening worked well. Not recommended though without a car but with a car, the many smaller roads linking the villages made for some spectacular lavender photos (the best fields were random drive by lucky moments!)
Good communication from the owner re: directions and parking.
He helped us with the luggage up to the second floor which was much appreciated!
The accommodation was huge; sitting area, bedroom, bathroom and separate WC.
The little pool was very welcome in the extreme heat, as was the fridge in the room.
Breakfast was nice.
The host was very pleasant and helpful, the apartment - large, comfortable, tastefully decorated and very well equipped in everything one can wish for! In addition the the comfort and quietness of the apartment, located in the heart of Apt, there was a bonus - the Terrace upstairs!
I found the staff very helpful and friendly here. The hotel and rooms were clean and fresh, some "budget" hotels can be very lacking in these areas; however, that is not the case at the First Inn in Apt. For the price charged it is recommended, the staff are an asset to the hotel.
