We were greeted on arrival and the owner was very attentive. It was a very quiet location with everything you needed. He booked a table for us at a very nice restaurant and booked us a taxi. Nothing was too much trouble.

Excellent breakfast. Lots of fruit, coffee, and eggs done to order. Suited us, just right for how our day subsequently turned out. We were able to continue our journey until lunch time, when we were ready to eat again.

Unique interesting and fascinating. The delights of this property are the quirky rooms dinning areas and the location. Visiting was more like staying with friends than at a booked accommodation as the hosts when helpful friendly intriguing and interesting with their stories and knowledge of the local area. We have stayed here several times and it is a great overnight stop in an historic, romantic hotel in an excellent location in the centre of one of France's most beautiful villages.
We like the laidback atmosphere and the excellent dinners which are good value.
Car parking on site is secure and essential for this location.
A walk around the village is a must and is so picturesque.

Angles-sur-l'Anglin is one of France's "most beautiful villages" and with good reason! There are lots of local artisans, artists, antique dealers and good places to eat as well! Highly recommend the Salon de thé No. 15 for a delicious meal or a coffee and homemade dessert!

Very pretty village with many narrow streets and quaint...
Very pretty village with many narrow streets and quaint buildings, located up a steep hillside above the river. There is a high crag with a super castle ruin on the top. There is a historic site of cave art dating back 15000 years, with a very good interptretaion centre explaining everything.
