The best thing about the place is Isabelle who runs it and is a superb one lady show. She is kind and very popular with the locals who come in for coffee.
She cooked a nice evening meal too

We had a most wonderful stay. Our host was warm, friendly, welcoming, she provided everything you could wish fr,o and more . We loved the room, the view, the dog , the breakfast, and most of it, the stars! I have not seen the like in many years. We sat up until after midnight, gazing up at the impossibly bright Milky Way, and counting the shooting stars. Unforgettable.

We had three really enjoyable nights at the Auberge along with dinner and breakfast.
The food was excellent and served with enthusiasm and cheerfulness. Arriving on the Thursday for "pizza night" in the outside bar was our good fortune! Tasty pizza, wine and a fun ambiance.
The staff were outstanding.

Very good quality for the price paid. Simple and efficient room, very clean, good wifi, very nice staff with excellent personal touch. Bed was comfortable although for taller people or a couple it might be on the smaller side. Had a room on the back of the hotel and it was quiet, despite a family party downstairs.
Breakfast was typically French, no complaints.
This was a great find. A family hotel run by lovely people who care and know what they are doing. Quality food in the traditional style that I used to find when travelling France in the 70s. A refreshing change from the endless formula brands that have increasingly become the offer. Thoroughly recommended.
Hotel clean - even the wooden bannisters were wax polished - bad news if you slip on the stairs and grab these to stop you falling...
No lounge, comfortable chairs, sofa. Owner's mother(?) sleeping on only available seating.
