Nice cozy house, 5 minutes away from the ferry dock. Perfect place to stay to explore the island Suðuroy. 20 minutes drive to Sandvík in the north and 30 Minutes to Sumba in the south. Host is very friendly and obliging. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Home with a view lives up to its name. You might not have a view from your bed but there is a nice terrace overlooking the stunning bay on which Vágar is located. The unit is spacious, clean and with a comfortable double bed. Amenities in the kitchen are plentiful and the bathroom has shower gel, shampoo an even toothbrushes if you happen to forget one! Vágar is a great base for exploring Suðuroy and I recommend at least three nights here if you have the time and want to do hiking. After all, you never know if the weather is good, so give yourself some slack. Thank you for a great stay and for the welcome treat!

What a delightful little house full of character - it feels like you are staying in someone's home complete with family photos. The location is easy to find, and there is parking right outside the front door. There is a great take away food place (Avocado Pizza) jsut up the road, but the highlight was MorMor - the best cafe we've eaten in in quite a few months of travelling. There is a washing machine and dryer in the basement, accessed easily from outside. The kitchen has everything you need, including fresh coffee beans - a nice touch. A nice view from the cosy newly renovated bathroom/toilet upstairs.

The house is wonderful, everything as described, very clean and hyggelig. We loved the story of Jensina Hansen and being allowed to have a look at the photo-books. There is a waterfall, there are sheeps, there i the ocean - all visible from the upper floor. We went on a small evening walk to the ocean - it is very near.
