The reef around the island was incredible. It was some of the most beautiful reef I've seen in the Mamanuca group or the Yasawa group. The buffet style meals were also great

For the cost and the fact the property is a Marriott owned property I expected a better organized resort. There was no local entertainment to be able to see Fijian ways. The service is exceptionally slow, although that is island life I believe. The choice of dining options are very poor and although we paid a lot of money and had the all inclusive Option, this did not include Late or Cappuccino or drinks & food after 9pm. The Indian restaurant was a bonus and once again not much choice but very good. The people are so nice you can’t complain about anything as it makes you feel bad. The pool was disgusting and I know Many guests complained about that but we love the beach so it didn’t bother us too much. The islands get a ton of seaweed washed up on land and in the shallows so it’s not great for everyone. The reef, which is a fair swim out, is amazing and so are the views. We were in bed for 10pm every night as the bars close at 9pm, so it’s not for anyone wanting to party. Still love Fiji islands buts it’s so very expensive we doubt we will visit this resort again.
