The setting of the property is beautiful; the grounds are pristine and the views are very serene. The on-site manager, Delisa, was a delight and very helpful. When we showed her, per Booking.com, that our breakfast was supposed to be included, she cooked for us (for a fee).

Secluded with only 2 lodges that were right on the tidal creek flowed into the lake in a very short distance. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding.
Access to a chef who prepared wonderful meals.

Close to town and activities, easy to find, on the beach, comfortable beds, amenties in the room were sufficient. It was quiet and relaxing. We liked the fauna around the grounds, breakfast was fine, and we ordered dinner a few nights as well that was very good. We used their lanudry service which was great as well. Wifi was sufficient for us to get our needs met.

Scruffy little town (and scruffy island) with not a lot for tourists. I have much preferred staying in the Mamanuca Island chain - cuter islands, more of a holiday feel and better snorkelling than what we experienced here.
The best thing was watching steam rising off the beach in town at sunset, glowing golden in the late afternoon sun

Savusavu is a fantastic place to visit.
Savusavu is a fantastic place to visit. It's hard to believe how laid back and friendly everyone is. Plenty of interesting places to visit. Most things are very reasonably priced, particularly restaurants, and taxis are a bargain! No pushy vendors like you find in Nadi or Suva. It truly is the "Hidden Paradise" and I highly recommend a visit

It's a beautiful remote area.
It's a beautiful remote area. There is a lot of development going on and they are providing a lot for tourist. Still it's looking very natural. The village Savusavu is actually not really nice. But the surrounding is stunning. I went there for diving. I did my dive with Koro Sun and it was just amazing.

Savusavu was ideal for us.
Savusavu was ideal for us. The town has everything you need and not so big you feel overwhelmed, just right. The snorkeling in the area is great. Of course as with Fiji in general the people are so friendly!

Beauitful scenery.
Vuadomo waterfall is a must see.
Beauitful scenery.
Vuadomo waterfall is a must see.
Make sure to take some kava and present to the village chief/leader for fijian ceremony called sevusevu. After that you pay $10FJD per person and a guide will go with you to waterfall.
From savusavu town it takes 20 to 30 minutes drive. There will be a sign board on right hand side if you driving towards labasa written as Vuadomo Village you turn on left and drive in.

What a hidden paradise with Daku Resort commanding incredible views across Savusavu Bay. The beautiful staff at Daku made us feel like part of the family. A short walk into town for a selection of very good restaurants offering excellent food at very reasonable prices. Although we often chose to eat at Daku where delicious food is available breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their burgers are excellent, or fish and chips in the lightest crispy batter. We will be back 😊
beautiful part of Savusavu, it was lovely being near the water and the lodge was so serene and tranquil. A Very relaxing and intimate stay. The staff - Oz, Simon, Lily, Leila, Maria and Solo - were the absolute loveliest people and made everything perfect. And the local animals - Olli, Coco and Kitty were very friendly too! we stayed in the Kingfisher lodge which was spacious and open which was fantastic.
A beautifully kept place, well located, modern and clean. Was able to enjoy the beautiful Savusavu for the entire stay. Eateries and grocery store nearby and a very friendly neighbourhood.
Highly recommended and would stay again!
