Blue Lagoon Beach Resort, hotel in Nacula Island

Located in the Yasawa Islands, alongside a white sandy beach, Blue Lagoon Beach Resort offers a restaurant and a bar. All accommodations feature Fijian décor and offer garden or sea views.

Waves were strong but it rained also so that may be it. Walked up a trail to a wonderful overlook. Not a lot of beach to lay out on.

This new place currently has one room only, so too bad I could only stay one night as it was so booked up. But that was also the plus side, very peaceful. The beach is very very beautiful and this place has plenty of shade allowing you to hangout and enjoy the beauty without suffering in the sun. The room and shared bathroom is very nice and clean. A big plus is the 24/7 electricity that other homestays don’t yet have. The host is a great cook, also making organic fruits ice cream that I had to go back everyday even when I stayed another place :) Thank you

Sunrise Lagoon Homestay, hotel in Nanuya Lailai

Sunrise Lagoon Homestay is offering accommodations in Nanuya Lailai. Providing a restaurant, the property also has a private beach area and water sports facilities.

Run by a lovely family, this place is right on the beach on the east side of the island. The famous Blue Lagoon beach is on the west side, accessible by 30 mins walk. They have 2 private rooms with bathroom by the sea which are the BEST; 1 family bungalow with bathroom but not as breezy as the seaside rooms; 1 private room with shared bathroom (share with dorm); and 10 dorm beds in one big room. I initially stayed in the dorm which was ok but the very rundown bathroom put me off big time. So, I moved to the seaside private room where I had such a great stay…room right on the beach with good breeze and sunrise view from the bed! If your budget allows, I would really recommend the seaside room. They also organize activities/day trips eg. Cave, snorkeling, fishing, etc. (extra charged) and have kayak/paddle board for free. Fellow travelers that I met there are great.

Navutu Stars Resort, hotel in Matayalevu

Navutu Stars Resort is the only boutique resort on the secluded island of Yaqeta, with just 9 beachfront bungalows spread along 3 pristine white-sand beaches.

Personal attention and care of amazing staff from the point you get off the boat to the point you leave the resort. Boutique resort with only a few guests at any point. We actually were even alone on the resort for a couple of nights which felt special. Facing calm waters even during sea storms, beautiful reefs within minutes of a boat ride. Very nice burres with panoramic glass doors which we kept open to allow the breeze during the day. Fine cuisine with local ingredients and freshly caught fish.

I liked the relaxing vibe of the place, was nice just to chill in the bure or hammock or do activities like kayaking or hiking the trail over the hills, which is a great photo opportunity overlooking other fijian islands.

    Nacula Island is gorgeous.

Nacula Island is gorgeous. It has pristine white sand beaches and wonderful snorkeling right off the beaches. There is also good hiking trails to explore and get a birds eye view of the island. There are 4 villages on the island. We visited Nasisili Village and brought Kava Root to the Chief. We were welcomed into his home and village. We also brought school supplies for the children and the Chief's daughter later distributed the supplies to the children and sent us pictures.

Nacula (pronounced na-th-ula) is an incredible place to stay. It's the last stop for accomodation on the Yasawa Flyer. It has a home reef you can snorkel at, with plentiful and diverse sea life, including an elusive turtle, and colourful and varied coral. Hiking is available and easy to get to, with trail heads and trail easy to find and follow. There are caves which you can visit and swim in a short boat ride away. The local village allows people to attend the church service at a low cost. It is a wonderful place to rest and rejuvenate.
