Yasawa Island Resort & Spa, hotel in Mbukama

Set on one of Fiji's most remote islands and surrounded by 11 beaches, the Yasawa Island Resort offers stunning ocean views, a restaurant and day spa.

Located in the furthest of the Yasawa Island so it has the best sandy beaches with crystal clear water. The Fijian style bure is spacious, beautiful and the beach is right at our doorstep. We were coming to celebrate birthday and they specially prepared a cake with birthday song for us. The food was decent and with variety of choices every meal. We especially liked the breakfast and the seafood platter is a must try with abundance of fresh lobster, prawns and fish from pacific ocean. I also liked the relaxing spa at the seaside. There were a number of complimentary activities to choose from daily - we really liked the guided snorkel trip by boat, the coconut tasting, and the private beach trip cannot be missed for sure. The complimentary sea plane trip is a breath-taking experience. This may not be the typical 5-star hotel you experience elsewhere but it definitely provides an authentic and enjoyable experience in the tropical island. Special Vinaka to Junior for being the most patient and trust worthy diving instructor, Oli for taking the most magnificent snorkel shots with our gopro camera, Nathan for always taking care of our every need coupled with his natural humor.

Nabua Lodge, hotel in Mbukama

Offering mountain views, Nabua Lodge in Nacula Island has accommodations, a garden, a private beach area, a terrace, a restaurant and barbecue facilities. Complimentary WiFi is offered.

Nabua lodge is a beautiful property and the staff are kind and welcoming. The beach was really relaxing. There are hammocks to relax in and it was so quiet. The meals were plentiful and tasty. The WiFi is so so but do you really need it going to a place like the Yasawas? The boat trip to the caves was well worth it and also to Blue Lagoon to go snorkeling. The snorkeling just off the beach is not the best re: coral but there are still plenty of things to see. I saw tons of fish and a spotted ray! The sunset viewpoint is absolutely stunning and you get the whole ridge to enjoy the view and listen to the Fijian Whistlers making their sunset songs. Highly recommend staying here!
