Barefoot Kuata Island Resort, hotel in Kuata

Ideally located for diving, Barefoot Kuata Island Resort Island offers a bar, restaurant, swimming pool and games room.

The Island was amazing with great views from the restaurant to our room. There was easy access to the beach from our room. The outdoor bathroom was great and they provided extra fan in our room as it didn't have air con. The bed was super comfy. The entertainment at dinner was also great. I did the Shark dive at the resort and the staff who assisted were very helpful and super friendly.

Waya Lailai Eco Haven, hotel in Wayasewa Island

Waya Lailai Eco Haven has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Wayasewa Island. The accommodation offers entertainment staff and a concierge service.

Waya LaiLai is a home away from home. Run by beautiful locals, this is an authentic Fijian Island experience. Our Bure on the beach was clean and great value for money for 2ad, 2ch. The beds were comfy and the (cold) shower good. All activities were run by friendly guides. A great opportunity to switch off and relax, with electricity via generator only a few hours a day and all night. The Fijian food was great. Coral reef here is better than the Coral Coast. The hike up the mountain was nice. Keep in mind the Yasawa islands are remote. This island is one of the closer to the mainland, we travelled via South Sea Cruises (1.5hr trip). Lots of other resorts in Yasawas are under overseas ownership, while Waya LaiLai is still under local ownership. We hope to come back!

Paradise Cove Resort, hotel in Naukacuvu Island

Boasting a waterfront location, Paradise Cove Resort features over 200 metres of private beach area. Surrounded by a garden landscape, this property offers a day spa, an outdoor pool and a restaurant....

The breakfast menu was extensive with continental options as a buffet and a menu with a great selection. It was so nice to not have a buffet breakfast and the quality was so much better as a result. The lunch and dinner options were equally extensive. The 16 course dinner at Donu was exquisite and the 6 course dinners at the main restaurant was equally delicious. Possibly the best food I have eaten at a resort. The staff are amazing and the service excellent. The room was lovely and comfortable. There are 3 very nice pools to choose from, heaps of seating options and the beach is lovely. The snorkelling off the beach is fantastic and there are daily snorkelling trips as well as other activities each day. The best place I have stayed in Fiji - we stayed 4 nights which was a good timeframe but I could have symtayed longer and will definitely be back.

This is a lovely island, with lots of friendly and helpful...

This is a lovely island, with lots of friendly and helpful staff. I had my own little house that was super clean, but you can also rent bunkbed tents. The food is excellent With live entertainment during meals. You do have to buy the extra meal package as there is nothing else on the island except this little tourist village. I think it’s best suited for those who want to dive and/or snorkel and there are lots of organized trips you can go on, or you can snorkel on your own. If you want to just lie on the beach, this isn’t really the place for you. I had a wonderful time and met some great people. Thank you Barefoot Quata :)
