I was just looking for a place to stay on the outskirts of Helsinki - and found a little paradise! If you don't mind the seminar center-style, this is very peaceful: among high pine trees, right by the ocean, away from the noise of the city. Once parked, you can reach the metro station by walking a pleasant 30 minutes (2 km) and are in downtown Helsinki in no time. Personnel were very friendly, breakfast in a large dining hall tasty.
Rastila Camping is in a residential area, next to a beach and 13 km from central Helsinki. It provides accommodation options with a private terrace, microwave and fridge.

It was a lovely house at the edge of a forest. I love that this has a sauna in the house. In general a very good option. We stayed there already a second time. Enjoyed it very much and intent to come back for more days.

Absolutely fantastic apartment, very comfortable beds, we had the best sleep there in 14 days in Finland, all the comfort you need. Kimmo (the owner) is very nice person, very helpful and kind. We will certainly visit this place again, when we will be in Vantaa/Helsinki area. Also- easy commuting to Vantaa/Helsinki - 20 minutes by car to Helsinki centre.

An absolutely charming little place with the best of views to the archipelago. The Majamaja is a testament to minimalistic Nordic deco and a comfortable retreat to spend a couple of days, equipped with everything one needs to relax and enjoy a simple life near nature. The off-grid concept made the experience unique and was quite fascinating too. If you are prepared to let the sun guide your consumption of electricity and water (which is sort of the point), this place is a must to experience. Will definitely have a staycation here again!

Cute, traditional old cabin. So cosy. Kitchen had all the utensils! Bed was comfy. Sauna was a treat. The outside toilet felt nostalgic:)
Me and my sister were very happy. Guntars was so lovely and even drive us to a local gallery / cafe.
