Magnificent and quiet surroundings, very clean and comfortable house with amazing garden. It's based on a private cape, has its own pier, with amazing views. There's a boat and two bicycles at the premises, ready to use. Indoor and outdoor wood burning saunas with logs provided. And didn't break the bank to visit here, very good value for money!

the location was excellent both locally and in regards to the nearby grocery, gas station, etc.
our highlights were the jacuzzi, the sauna and the fireplace. The kitchen was big enough and had a fridge with ample space.

The location is very beautiful by a lake. The staff is particularly friendly and the fact that at least in the summer weekends the restaurant linked to the hotel is open until 2 am is helpful if one arrives late, as we did. There are two beaches for swimming in immediate vincinity of the accommodation. The staff have really tried to think of everything, and in the (shared) toilet there is even toothpaste available.
This motel is in Tohmajärvi, just 17 km from the Russian border Värtsilä-Niirala crossing point. It offers functional accommodation, a fully equipped shared kitchen and free parking.

Seems basic on the face of it but the facilities are really quite good. though the beds are quite old they are comfortable. The guest kitchen has everything you would need to cook a meal for a full family ! The host is a very charming lady who with very little English still manages to remain courteous and kind. I felt very welcome here
