I arrived on the overnight ferry from Stockholm; hotel kindly arranged for my key card to be available with the people on duty in the breakfast room, and I was able to claim my room immediately, even though it was only half past eight in the morning! The breakfast was varied and delicious! Location is pretty good, not quite central, but right next to the bus station, five minutes' from the art gallery, ten minutes' from the train station, and about fifteen minutes' walk from the cathedral.

Turku is a lovely city in finland. I got to spend a few days here off and on and it was lovely to discover the museums, local restaurants (some really incredible), bars, shops and even took flights, cruises and busses from and to here while solo traveling through Finland for three weeks. I am sure in the summer it is divine.

Turku was a springboard for visiting Finland's wooden villages, with our son who goes to school in Helsinki. He wanted to have more time in Turku. What we saw of Turku was charming and easy. Street parking was easy. It was walkable, also - we walked about a half-mile to get a couple pizzas at Dal Forno, which we can highly recommend.

The best part of Turku was our self guided tour of the castle which was amazing and easy to access via the local bus. We didn’t have a vehicle and only stayed one night so didn’t venture far. Disappointed in the old town as I expected more.

Wonderful medium size city. I like the river Aura, the monuments and the tranquility of the city and Turku citizens. The majority of the population speaks English very well and they are kind and polite. Great experience.nduring the stay I had the chance to assist to the street arts festival.

I like everything about Turku and Finland. The marina boat museum.The Castle unbelieveable spent 4 hours there,The river and refreshment cafes along the river bank The museum particular the old monastery museum. The wonderfull cathedral The botanical gardens amazing. The shops. Seeing the deer as you drive through the roads with the glades amongst the trees anode course the wonder of the children and adults when the go to Moominworld. The old town of wooden houses ,unbelievable the shoemakers house the clockmakers house amazing

I loved the area around the Cathedral and the Riverside. I also greatly enjoyed the Archeaological Museum near the cathedral. There were great places to walk and charming options for refreshments or meals.

Absolutely outstanding cozy hotel, a lovely tourist gem in a quiet corner of central Turku. Run with great respect to its historic & highly atmospheric ambience, it is definitely worth staying for a short stay. Soft bed, sufficient breakfast, highly client-oriented attitude
The location was convenient if you're arriving by train from southern Finland. The bed was quite comfortable, and the room was spacious. Hotel feels new. There were lot of fruits during the breakfast.
A wonderfully we appointed 2 bedroom apartment within easy walking distance to all the sites and restaurants of Turku with private parking in the below ground garage.
Family atmosphere, delicious breakfast and lunch, very good location, friendly people at the hotel. Next time in Turku I will stay there again! Kiitos!
