Bed was great. Rooms were cozy. Luckily not that busy, but one could sense the possible neighbors. It was great that there was a water boiler and fridge available.
Breakfast was excellent. Good variety of stuff from porridge and berries to almost perfect croissants and bacon.
Neighborhood or lack of it is actually very nice. You are actually almost in the middle of nowhere here.

Our family stayed in a cottage of Ounasrannan Majat (Ounasranta cottages) during our winter holidays. The cottage is located in the countryside, in a beautiful and idyllic village of Tepasto.
I had an opportunity to stay overnight in a goahti (a modern well-equipped tipi-like hut) on the shore of the river Ounasjoki.
It was an unforgettable experience! I was able to see the clear, starlit sky through the skylight! I guess in optimal circumstances the overnighter can see the northern lights!
Despite the outside temperature, -13 celsius the goahti was warm and cosy. I slept like a log!
This is an experience you can't skip - you will remember it for the rest of your life.
