Kauppi is a really nice small scale hotel that had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and smiling. The room was big enough and I liked that there was a fridge that wasn't filled with overpriced drinks - I could actually use it for my own stuff. I also enjoyed the breakfast. It wasn't crazy big, but I had no trouble getting my belly full. I didn't use the pool, but I did use the sauna, which was available between 19:00 and 22:00. The absolute best thing for me was how quiet the place is. I'm a really light sleeper and often have trouble sleeping. I can't even remember when was the last time I slept so well!

Spacious and clean room, very quiet despite the central location next to the railway station and road. We asked for a room with a bath tub and received it. The bath tub was easy to fill and comfortable to lay in. We got all the information we needed during check-in, including offer on sauna reservation which we didn't take up on this time. There was also a gym, didn't check out that one either. The mini bar had some drinks and chips available for extra cost.
Breakfast selection was amazing, besides the usual (croissants, porridge, bacon, scrambled eggs, etc) there was for example spinach/carrot crepes, vegan overnight oats and a whole gluten free section.
