This property was lovely, I really appreciate how homely it felt. The rooms were spacious. The bathroom a bit tricky that one. There’s a ski resort not too far from the hotel you can literally walk over there. There’s a restaurant at the slope area and in the hotel but the one at the hotel at the time of my stay was not open until Thursdays. The staff was amazing and the breakfast was top notch. I really enjoyed my stay and I’m looking forward to coming back.

I was traveling through Finland with my dad, and we happened upon Vuokatinmaa Holiday Apartments. I am extremely glad that we lucked into this gem of a place. The staff was exceptionally helpful to us as American tourists, they went out of their way to help us with a rental car and with local attractions. The location was wonderful, a 30 minute drive to some bigger towns and the facilities themselves are on a gorgeous lake. We liked it so much that we extended our stay by two nights. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
