Happy with our stay. The place was beyond my expectations, since it was cheap. Its an old buildning but its clean, comfortable, nice breakfast (tho egg is abit watery🤭) but everything is good. Sauna is a plus.
We checked in late after new years eve but the lady i talked on the phone was really nice, making sure everything is fine. When i met her in person, i was abit confused at start because i thought shes angry.lol The language confused me🤭 my husband explained to me Finnish sounds angry but they are not angry, its just the language is very strong and looks them tough.lol

Quiet place and scenic views. we did not have a car so only could explore by foot. we went to Luosto amethyst mines and that was a day well spent. We went during summer (August 1st) and we could not experince the nightless nights. it was also raining and cloudy. We bought groceries from K market and cokekct at home since we are vegetarians.

Location is very nice. There are enough space for parking and important areas are in walking distance. Food in restaurant is very good, probably best in sodankyla. Staff is very helpful and keen to help also for the questions related to region and things to do.
Aged, worn, clean and not bad - would call it a time trip. Nice personnel, family hotel touch. Good food at bar and breakfast. Positive and different experience overall.
