I generally know and like Lappeenranta - it is a nice town to stay in and to both work and enjoy. Located in the beautiful Finnish nature and at the coas of Saimaa lake. Moreover, the place is good as a base for journeys to the nearby attractions as well as e.g. for shopping.

In Lappeenranta, we particularly liked the harbor and the fortress. Otherwise, we mainly used the city as a starting point for trips and hikes along the shores of Lake Saimaa. Lappeenranta is ideally located for this. The environment is really beautiful.

There is something magical about Lappeenranta.
There is something magical about Lappeenranta. Such a beautiful place to spend summer. So much to do and see, yummy Finnish foods from the satama, loved the sandcastle sculptures. E-scooter rides were great fun and a visit to the market for fresh strawberries and peas is a must.

The breakfast was fantastic. All the food was fresh and delicious. There was a free parking, the area is really quiet surrounded by beautiful nature. The staff of the hotel was so helpfull and kind. They also have a special room with kitchen and a variety of boarding games, where you can have a meal and relax with your family and friends.
We hightly reccomend it!
Third time staying at Kantolankulma. It's THE Place for me in Lappeenranta.
Service has been always very friendly.
Apartments are cosy and very clean.
Extra points for free parking spots behind the house.
Location is few blocks from the main center but close enough to walk in mere minutes.

Hotel Lähde is a really relaxing place at an amazing situation next to Saimaa. Next time I take my room towards water. Now had a room to the street. Great noise insulation, so traffic didn't disturb at all. Personal was great with one exception.
