The location is the best of this cottage. However, the discomfort is that people usually rent this type of cottage because the area is close to the downhill resort. So, you can expect to get a decent winter clothes drying machine. For some reason, the machine in our cottage was unavailable, which destroyed our skiing plans.

Close to both the railway and bus station. Tasty breakfast with lots of options (scrambled eggs and karjalanpiirakka were my favorites). It was nice and quiet. Very large bathroom!
Gabriele is an outstanding host. Clean rooms, stocked with all of the essentials and complete with ‘extras’—such as if needed, a later check out. Hollola is 10/10 beautiful and much more quaint, peaceful, and enjoyable compared to Lahti. Definitely book at HS for walking distance to groceries, beautiful hiking trails, lakes, and a most perfect Finnish experience
