Like most towns in Finland when the sun sets, the knowledge of where to go evaporates. A small newsprint directly targeting visitors for after hours would be nice. I heard four different languages while there so I could not ask for more with politeness and understanding. Hanko is a popular summer destination and a launching pad for the archipelago so nothing I write will change that. However, like St. Louis Missouri (where I was born) the history of the Russian presence should not be swept away. Its evident in the architecture but not so much in print. The border states in the United States have had a dual allegiance to the South as well as the Union. I think Hango could build on that.

It was pretty much what I expected, and I enjoyed it all. I did not really do much in the hotel but sleep and use the facilities, but the brief moment I was in contact with the staff they were great. The place was very clean and tidy which was very pleasing.
If I am in the area again this will be the first place I will try and book at.
We had a nice stay at this hotel. Nearby the water, where you can find the harbour. Rooms were big, and clean. Breakfast was good. Nice staff. Enough parking places. Good restaurant across the road.
