Everything exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and despite that we didn't book spa the were still slots to book. We were first a bit scared when it said silent hotel at the entrance but this wasn't very true.

the surroundings are very beautiful. the road to reach the hotel passes through woods and small groups of old houses. there are nature trails if you like walking. the hotel is a very large and renovated house, the exterior has the typical Basque architecture while the interior is very modern. there is a well-kept garden and a free parking. the rooms are new and large with big bathrooms but a little impersonal for me. breakfast is paid separately but is freshly made. there are information materials and relax area. we asked for an additional room after booking and it was given to us with a discount for individual use. we received good advice on a restaurant where we ate well within 10 minutes by car in the nice town of Orozko. the hotel is run by two sisters.

As soon as we stepped into their garden we felt at home. Poppy, our labrador, loved it, she could run free around the garden.

Lovely apartment in a spectacular location just outside Durango and on the way into the natural park. Bilbao and San Sebastian are not far away with all that those places gave to offer. Really well equipped.
It was one of the best places I’ve ever been! The style of the building is very interesting: traditional style mixed with Indonesian elements of decor. Everything made with love! The owners of the hotel is very nice couple was greeting us with a big warm. The room was clean and cozy. The restaurant offers you gourmet cuisine. The hotel has Spa and you can order massages or face treatments. The air is so fresh around so I couldn't stop enjoying breathing! The calm and silence all around!
Very comfortable room with large bathroom, everything was spotlessly clean. Staff were professional and attentive. The location is very rural and totally peaceful. The only noises we heard were the birds and the bells from a heard of cows grazing in the field below the hotel. Views are absolutely spectacular. We ate lunch and dinner and the food was excellent. The beers and wine we had were also very good. Free typical continental style buffet breakfast was good.
The staff were super helpful. The dinners were delicious - I ate there for both my nights but would gladly have gone back again. The hotel was in a beautiful and quiet spot with amazing views of the mountains and countryside.

Amazing hotel nestled in a beautiful spot. Just waking up with the view is worth the price of the room alone. Breakfast is decent and service is very good.
