Beautifully restored old village house The hosts were very friendly and gave us helpful information about the area. Our room was on the 3rd floor. It was smaller but cozy with comfy bed. There was a kettle, selection of teas, water and small sweet treats. Attached batroom was very clean. Amazing view from the window, especially in the evening when the castle was illuminated. Breakfast was tasty and copious. The whole hotel is beautifuly decorated and updated while keeping historical charm. Also the town of Iznajar is pretty. We recommend an evening walk up to the castle. We were lucky to find the parking in front of the house, but there is also nearby parking lot

A quiet sleepy village. We booked a table for 9 in the cafe within the municiple swimming pool complex for 8.30pm re a birthday.
By 9pm it was like the whole village had gone there to eat.
We had a fantastic night.
A chemist and supermarket were open daily.

The staff were very welcoming, the parking for free in the grounds, a good bowl of pasta in the restaurant for dinner, the possibility of a glass of wine on the terrace. Whilst the hotel is next to a road, the view from my bedroom and the restaurant terrace was countryside; it was quiet and i slept well. The pool was closed (5 Oct) but I noticed a pool towel and sunbed cushion in the wardrobe - nice touch.
Very helpful and comforting owners that run the hotel & restaurant themselves. Both spoke English very well. Place is in really good shape, rooms are nice and have their own A/C. Restaurant was superb and had a varied menu that changes over time - with loads of vegetarian options! Breakfast was also great, lots of variety (fruits, cereal, cheese, ham, bread, jams, honey) and good coffee.
What a gorgeous hotel. The grounds were stunning. Our room was lovely and spacious and always super clean. The pool was so tranquil and peaceful. The breakfast was just perfect. Cannot fault the hotel or staff.
