We loved every minute of our stay! We were treated with the utmost kindness and care, the owner is the most lovely person we've ever met in a hotel, after so many years of traveling.
The warmest smile you'll ever see!
The landscape was also breathtaking!
Parador was extremely comfortable. There was so much of interest internally in the hotel that the 1 rainy day we had during our stay was easily occupied. Parking on site was excellent. Staff were very helpful, taking time to explain local areas of interest, checking access and weather, as well as advising on other paradors to stay in. Breakfast was fantastic, as was the evening meal we ate there.
Absolutely stunning hotel converted from an old restored monastery, the place is dripping with history. An absolute joy to walk around. You'll need a car as it isn't in the centre of Cangas de Onis, and is a short 5 minute drive away.
Rooms are very comfy and we enjoyed our stay so much we booked another night.
Excellent breakfast
The room room was absolutely great, clean and functional. I did choose the hotel but would have liked it to be closer to town (my choice). I found the breakfast pricey and after a bad experience with the evening meal, decided not to have breakfast at the hotel.
