Very cosy hotel in a lovely colorful town. I fell in love with a sea view in a hotel roof terrase. It was perfect!
Heated indoor swimming pool for free was good. Best location, next to the sea. Spacious and comfortable room.
Very nice lady Brigitte at a reception! Very polite and nice! I loved her! :)))) Very pleasant stay

Very clean and comfortable apartment
Very well equipped kitchen
Very good response from owner/company to questions
Excellent underground parking
Lovely balcony, shame the weather wasn't good enough for us to take advantage of it
Fabulous apartment with a fabulous view. The pool isn't heated so may not be suitable for young children. Some fixtures and fittings would benefit from updating but worth it for the location. Loved the balcony in the evenings. Had a lovely meal at Maharaja on the seafront.

A very relaxed small Spanish fishing village.
A very relaxed small Spanish fishing village. We loved that we hardly heard a British accent and the menus were mainly in Spanish. No English Breakfast in sight!! The majority of the bars and restaurants were small and traditional

Beautiful old town , fab bars, restaurants on beachfront , all reasonably priced and most offer menu del dia which is great value . Friendly locals . Retains the essence of true Spain .Lots of history and culture. Beautiful beaches. Valor choc factory do free tours if u book direct on website. Lots of lovely walks for all abilities . Very chilled and laid back . Trams and buses run regularly to Alicante, Altea, Calpe , Denia and Benidorm . Local market in town every Thursday . Big Mercadona at each end of town for supplies and some superb bakeries. There’s also an indoor market for meat , fish etc in town . This little gem ain’t Benidorm if that’s what u are looking for … it’s quiet, restful and chilled . Would recommend food at Puur ( need to book) , Sabor de Galicia ,Bar29 and Arsenal Burger on front .Black Lion great for drinks and Terramar on front .

I had an apartment a few miles out of Villajoiosa for 20 years and was there to complete the sale. I love the town, the beach and the surrounding countryside. It is a busy, working town with a fishing fleet, yacht marina and several industrial areas. Fun fact - some of the ships for the Spanish Armada that was sent to try and invade England were built at Villajoiosa's many shipbuilding yards. Also, It has three chocolate factories! I would advise against the factory tours though because of Health & Safety restrictions they are not so exciting. The chocolate is wonderful though and there is a Valor chocolate cafe in the town centre and a Marcos Tondas outlet shop in the industrial area just out of the centre. La Vila Joyosa, as the many Valenciano speakers call it, is a popular tourist spot, especially when Madrid takes August off! Out of season it is quiet and peaceful but not deserted like some resorts as the local population take their evening stroll along the promenade. Some restaurants close but many are open all year. There are significant ex-pat communities of British, French, Dutch and Norwegian and smaller numbers of German, Swiss and other nationalities so there is a cosmopolitan vibe. Beside the hotels in town there are several camping and caravan sites a short distance along the coast (an easy walk to town). I highly recommend this charming town for a peaceful and varied holiday. It Is not a town of disco bars and vibrant nightlife but if you want that Benidorm is a short drive or trainride away, as are the themeparks and waterpark.

The hotel room was beautiful, anything you could want in the room was there. It was spotlessly clean, the bed and the pillows were super comfortable.
The hotel location was amazing, just a 2 min walk to the beach.
The manager Juanjo, could not have done more for us. I only wish we could have stayed longer
Amazingly well thought out & comfortable apartments. Everything you could possibly need. Immaculately clean.
Great location for the beach / bars.
Very friendly & efficient staff & nothing too much trouble. Special thanks to Ana on reception who sorted out a prob we had with our hire car.
Excellent location, short walk to the beach and close to plenty of bars and restaurants. The hotel itself had a relaxed coffee/bar by reception, ideal for a nightcap or morning coffee. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very quiet, making for a relaxing stay.
