Very clean and comfortable, lovely welcome from the dark hair lady on reception, the blonde waitress again very helpful, and smiley, both went over and above to make our stay really nice. Great outside terrace with two pools, Sunbeds and tables and chairs.

There is much to love about Vera Playa and much to be desired. First, it’s a gem simply because it’s a rare naturist resort - the world is lacking in that option. All body types and relationships will feel welcome & safe. Their pool facility and pool scape is absolutely wonderful - the copious palms offer respite from the sunny, hot days. Competition for the best loungers is fierce (get up early & claim one). It’s a Senator Hotel but is not really 4 star. The rooms are in dire need of renovation & buildings are in need of some repair and freshening up. Tired is the best word. I didn’t find their lunch fare very good this trip (my third in seven years) - kitchen seemed subpar. Breakfast on the beach in the main facility was very good. Enough variety to not to get bored. I didn’t book the dinner inclusive - plenty of great places to eat right out the door or within a 15 min walk. Hotel staff are courteous and competent. While my heart is attached to Vera Playa Hotel I’m a little tired of their ‘tired’.

Spotlessly clean, both on and off the beach. Possibly the longest and deepest [in places] stretches of beach that I've ever visited.
I was self-catering, in an apartment and the local supermarket was nearby and very reasonably priced.

Vera beach is like a small village, clean, organized and very civilized. There is no problem with people wearing clothes on the beach, those who go there are nudists and there is also no problem with cell phones and photos. You can walk around naked freely on the beach, in the xiringuito and even in the streets and restaurants. Everyone complies, there are no sad scenes or exhibitionism. Anyone who wants to can go naked even in the bar and nightclub area, where there are also restaurants.
A calm and peaceful atmosphere, with a high age range but very pleasant. An experience worth repeating. The experience of naturism in Spain in these complexes is incomparable to Portugal.
I highly recommend it.

Several restaurants and a small supermarket close to the accommodation. The evening tourist train into Garrucha during the summer is nice especially for families with children.
The lake with ducks, moorhens, etc is lovely but should be avoided at dusk as we were badly bitten by mosquitos

beware of mosquitoes they bite often so jungle juice required
Flies can be a big problem - not sure why but locals say it has to do with the fruit growing plus the muck the farmers spread and apparently they are supposed to spray in the area to control flies and mosquitoes but the local said they didn't think this had happened for at least this year.

Our stay was very good. Efficient and friendly staff. Restaurant was good. Good selection of food. Our room was upgraded and was extremely spacious and the balcony was enormous. Had a shower and bath, plenty of hot water. Wifi was good.
As I said previously - being charged €3.10 for a 1.5 litre of water is off the scale. Something needs to be looked at.
I will recommend the hotel, because everything else was great.

We liked the hotel complex, the surroundings and the nearby beach. The service was polite, the room was well equipped and clean. We didn't need WiFi and enjoyed the fun by the pool as it was time limited. In the evening came silence.
The location is good, right on the beach; although not as close to the beach cafe or supermarket as Vera Natura (where we have stayed before) is. There was plenty of car parking on-site.
Friendly and helpful staff. Very close to Playa. The outside areas are kept very clean and tidy.
Have stayed there last year and hope to stay there again next year.
