This hotel was absolutely perfect for exploring Bardenas Reales. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It's about 15 minutes from the park in the tiny quiet town of Arguedas, which I'm so glad I chose over Tudela, a big city with all the hustle and bustle I was trying to avoid.
The owner/manager Consuelo was so kind and helpful when I messaged her to say I was delayed and would arrive long after check in finished. She gave me a code to enter after hours, and I was so happy to see the A/C in my room after driving 9 hours in 35° weather in a car with no A/C. Also, there was lots of free street parking near the hotel.
The bed was comfy, the shower worked well, there were towels, a wardrobe with hangers, soap, shampoo, a TV, and those wonderful blackout shutters so I could sleep late. Plus, I loved having the two gentle dim lights near the bed since I'm sensitive to bright lights at night.
Consuelo was so nice and answered all my questions patiently in spite of my less than stellar Spanish. I really hope to return again soon. Muchas gracias por todo!
