breakfast was not so good as our last stay. but acceptable.
convenient for the airport as very close. Seafront good for strolling/walking along as it is possible to walk all the way to Benalmadena and beyond. Centre of Torremolinos noisy, seafront down below however there is a lift down for those with mobility issues

We found Torremolinos to be a nice place to spend a short break, it has easy access to the airport with both train and public transport links. The town itself is perched high on the upper slopes of a hillside and is difficult to access from the beach if you have mobility issues, however once down on the promenade it is possible to walk many miles along a flat walk. The town centre has the usual mix of bars and restaurants alongside many other shopping opportunities. Unfortunately for us as we were visiting during the winter months many of the Chiringuitos on the beach were closed during the week so we didn't get to taste the seafood that they normally offer.

I would say to anyone thinking about staying there AVOID AVOID AVOID. The apartment was dirty! The apartment was very small, there was a microwave, but absolutely no space to eat anything in the apartment. The only sink was in the tiny ensuite! If the apartment was in the UK they would not get away with that! The bed was rock hard, my husband sleeps like a baby normally, but came home with a bad back. The outside area was also dirty and vile, full of bird mess and the furniture was old and crumbling!! The apartment was damp and absolutely stunk of mould, so whenever we were there we had the windows and door open! I never normally write reviews, but because it was so bad, I wanted to warn people that might be considering staying there!

We stay in Torremolinos a lot.
We stay in Torremolinos a lot. Its easy to get to from the airport, train station is opposite the airport and its only 3 stops on the train which runs every 20 mins along the coast. The town is lovely, very Spanish with lots of shops, restaurants and cafes. We tend to go out of season in November, February or at Easter so its not a party town. Lovely long beach and promenade. Easy to get into Malaga on the train, only about 20 mins. Or you can get the bus up to Mijas a white village in the hills. Easy to walk along the coast to Benelmadena or get the train to Fenguirola which is the end of the line.

Very compact town, each area can be walked to from another.
Very compact town, each area can be walked to from another. Plenty of choice for restaurants and bars.
Torremolinos is in the middle of the train line - one way is Malaga city and the other way is fengeirola. Less than 5 euros return per person.
Plenty taxis in Torremolinos. People in the shops etc are very friendly. Town is extremely clean

Having visited and stayed in Torremolinos several times over...
Having visited and stayed in Torremolinos several times over the years I am always drawn back there. The quaint old winding staircase leading from Calle San Miguel down to the beachfront is always a joy with a couple of drinks outside the Ship pub at the bottom. The centre of Torremolinos is a busy working town with a great variety of cafes, bars, restaurants. On this visit (October), workmen were busy tearing up the main square, which was a bit of a pity but if the rest of the renovated town centre is anything to go by, it will be well worth it. Love to wonder around the backstreets, there is always something to discover anew. Find typical Spanish cafe/bars for excellent tapas and small beers, great value for money but eat where the natives eat if possible.

The hotel was spotless, the staff very friendly and the bedrooms were comfortable with a good en suite and shower. The facilities were great with nice swimming pools and plenty of sunbeds. The buffet breakfast and evening meals were of good quality, although repetitive with not enough variety for longer stays. Great to have the train station close-by for the airport or trips into Malaga or Torremolinos.
Breakfast and dinner adequate with plenty of choice. Some evenings were better than others. Room and bathroom was dated but bed very confortable. Hotel set away from main road so did not hear any noise from traffic but very steep hill up to entrance. About 15-20 mins walk into Torremolinos centre.
clear check-in instructions from reception (as i was arriving late at night after they closed). i've stayed at the hotel before - the standard rooms are simple but comfortable and the hotel is ideally situated right in the centre of Torremolinos
very close to centre of torremolinos. staff were friendly and helpful. this was just a brief stay so we didn't get to use the amenities fully but we'd be more than happy to return to this hotel
The location and the bright airy atmosphere of the hotel. Ideal if you want to be close to the beach but not too close to the frenetic centre of Torremolinos. A nice quiet neighbourhood
