We love the building and it's set-up having stayed there many times. Good sized, well set out rooms. Breakfast and the set evening meal have many options and are good value. The hotel staff as always were very helpful.

This was a truly a unique experience ! This authentic hotel is located at the border of the Monfragüe National Park in Cáceres. The scenery is awesome, also at night (no light pollution at all). The place is very very quiet; ideal location to fully disconnect. Carmen is the perfect host, and a great cook !
The hotel is well located for exploring Monfrague NP. We like the distinct design of the building. The rooms are comfy and our bed was huge. We were on half board. Our evening meals were interesting and tasty. Breakfast is plentiful and varied. The staff were, as always, very attentive and welcoming.

friendly owner, well cared for and spotlessly clean. Good location for local birdwatching & local bar in the centre of
town or upmarket hotel on edge of village for drinks and meals.
We could park our bicycles inside. Everybody was friendly. The hotel is perfect for a visit to the monfragüe biosphere reservate.
