Stayed in the very touristy part of Puerto del Carmen so loads of restaurants, shops and bars in walking distance. Lovely beach just Infront of the flat aswell. Other parts of the island are an easy driving distance from here. Only negative thing is the parking. Sometimes you have to park the car a short walking distance away from the flat where you are staying.

Lovely prom, nice for a morning stroll, soon the flat.
Lovely prom, nice for a morning stroll, soon the flat. The walk from Puerto del Carmen to Puerto Calero is more strenuous but worth the effort. The views over the sea are beautiful and the walk takes an hour. If the return walk proves too much, take the ferry back, single trip costs €9pp and takes half an hour. There are many restaurants in Tias, our favourite was Moritoni but if you eat after 6pm, be prepared to have to wait. Excellent food, great service and reasonable. Lidl is located in this area if you are self catering. We walked there and stocked up and got a €5 taxi back.

Not much in Tias itself, but a great well stocked supermarket with lots of fresh produce, easy to park, ATM. Several cafes and tapas in Tias. I would say car essential and then travel around the island. Plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.

Tias & in particular Puerto del Carmen is a great short stay location. Flights from UK & Ireland are typically 4 hours so you need a week here at least. The Avenida area is perfect for access to beaches, numerous good quality restaurants that offer incentives to dine there. Cleanliness is spot on as the road sweepers operate invisibly very early in the mornings, and every day. No problems with rowdy behaviour, no experience of theft or violence and this is our 4rd visit this year. Great for couples, families as children are made welcome everywhere. The taxi service is excellent, but the bus service is too and the fare (Oct 23) from the airport to Puerto del Carmen is 1.40€ and takes 10 mins. Buses will take you to Puerto Calero, Costa Teguise - where the Sunday market is the biggest on the island. If you like cycling, you can hire all types of bikes including electric and there is a dedicated cycle path all along the sea front - we went from Arrecife to Puerto del Carmen old town with no issues - only occasional periods of un-flatness - no real hills.

The property was clean and in off the beaten track in a quiet area. Amenities at the apartment was sufficient for the visit. Bed was a disappointment and not very comfortable (I spent most nights on the sofa till the cockroach arrived (we probably let the cockroach in)). Balcony is spacious with 2 sunbeds with cushions, chairs and table. Sun is on the balcony for most of the day

Great villa in a great location. Tías is 9 minutes drive from puerto Del carmen and much quieter and more residential. A taxi into carmen will cost 10 euro. Bus stop and taxi rank a few minutes walk from the villa. Large supermarket a 5 minute walk away. Villa and the surrounding area were so peaceful and relaxing. Villa had everything you could need for the stay and check in and out were very easy. The host rep met us on site with keys and was very welcoming. Villa was spotless
Very cozy flat, new, furnished in good taste, clean and comfortable. Large space, everything needed in the kitchen including a moka pot with coffee and some basic food such as tea, oil...
outside space to chill out and a very nice common swimming pool. The position is great, 5 min from the sea and the promenade full of shops, bars and restaurants. Definitely going there again if come back to Lanzarote. Alex the host is very friendly, helpful and fast to respond.
The location is unbelievable, sea and mountain views and very quiet. The room was comfortable and we had everything we needed to cater for ourselves in the kitchen area as well as a private pool outside. The host was great on arrival and we were greeted with water, wine and chocolate. This will be the first place I check for availability when I come back to Lanzarote.
This is a fantastic little bungalow so central for everything people will moan at hills but there is hills everywhere in Lanzarote ,it’s in a very quiet location as much as it’s nxt to everything . It’s another home from home the pool right outside is a massive bonus.
The location was perfect. Quiet, silent at night, warm and cozy.
Special mention to our host! He's super fun and welcoming, also he helped with a map of Lanzarote, sharing local spots for hiking, beaches, dinners and such. Keep it up!
