The rooms are spotless. They are not very spacious but the beds are comfortable.
The breakfast is varied and very tasty, except for the coffee which is machine coffee. It would be appreciated if there was a filter coffee option.

Great hotel in a gorgeous spot right on the waterfront. Our room was modern, clean and great views. The beds were comfy and the shower was the best we’ve had anywhere on our travels.

Staff is lovely from the first step you enter until you check-out, smiley and explaining everything in detail. We traveled by car and had a booking for their car park, which was 15€, it is safe and gated. At arrival, one member of the staff welcomes you and gives you directions while parking as it's a bit tight (we had a long car). Every time someone arrives or leaves, a member of the staff guides you through. While waiting for check-in, they gave us a glass of champagne which was a lovely touch. We had booked a Premier Double Room and receive one with balcony which was a great surprise. There's a coffee machine with a selection of coffee pods and tea, as well as 2 pieces of fruit, 2 traditional Cantabria pastries and 2 bottles of water, which is really generous and appreciated. There's also a fridge. Room size is standard, but there's plenty of room for your stuff and clothes on the shelves provided. Location is fantastic, loads of restaurants, shops, bakeries, etc around. 5 minutes down the road and you're in the main street bar area in Puerto Chico. It is very a safe neighbourhood. 10 minutes drive to the ferry.

I found the staff so genuinely polite and especially a lovely experienced smaller blonde (Rubio) lady her chatted si kindly with me at breakfast and helped me with my Spanish . I didn’t ask her name , as I was travelling alone this made me feel so welcome as did all the other staff
This luxurious 4-star hotel is located right by the beach, and only 400 metres from Magdalena Palace. It is within walking distance of the centre of Santander and the university.

Bemon Playa Hotel is located in the town of Somo, across the bay from Santander. It is just 150 metres from a long sandy beach and various surfing schools. Surf equipment can be stored on site.
Very clean, modern stand alone guest house, had washing line to dry clothes, excellent room facilities ie: bath, shower etc, staff extremely friendly and relaxing atmosphere where we could enjoy sitting in deck chairs in sun outside or inside to enjoy refreshments, World Soccer Cup 2024 between Spain and England was held on the night of ourn stay, very enjoyable to be in Spain who want the World Cup, would highly recommend to family and friends to book accommodation at Posada de Suesa. Thank you so much.
Excellent family owned hotel superbly located in the village. Greeting letter in English. Nice touch. Lovely room with balcony overlooking extensive well cared for garden. Safe parking on site. Excellent continental style breakfast. Comfortable public areas. Lovely old building full of character. Spotlessly clean which is very impressive considering all the old beams and nooks and crannies.
Lovely hotel with lots of charm and the owner was friendly and welcoming. The room was large and the en suite had a fabulous shower and everything was very clean. It's in a small but very pretty village but unfortunately all the local restaurants were shut on the night we stayed so had to travel out to find a restaurant as the hotel only did breakfast.
"We stayed at the hotel during the low season, and it seemed like there was no one else staying there besides us. We stayed in a room on the first floor, and we could hear the owner walking up and down the stairs. It didn't bother us too much, but it could be a bit of a disturbance during the high season. Gloria was very welcoming and friendly."
We book at Posada de Suesa for one night, but this is definitely a place where you should stay longer than that as there is much to see and visit around. Moreover, room was quite comfortable and perfect for a family with two kids like us, breakfast was fine, garden invites to relax outside and parking is easy and safe.
