Great location in walking distance to the center and restaurant
Great breakfast.
Very friendly and helpful staff - especially Maria gave good recommendations for restaurants and excursions.

This hotel is by far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Starting with the aesthetics, the hotel is spectacular, the rooms are super comfortable and beautifully decorated. The owners are the sweetest couple and are in the hotel every day for breakfast. Tomei, at the reception is so kind and have the best tips. The location of the hotel is amazing as everything is 20-30 minutes away. Honestly nothing bad to say and is worth every penny.
Located in Es Mercadel, 10 minutes’ drive from Fornell’s beaches, Hotel Jeni & Restaurant is located in central Menorca. Featuring an outdoor pool, it is set in gardens.

It is the third time I am a guest of this hotel.
It is located in the centre of the island in a very nice village (Es Mercadal) which has many places to eat and drink in the evening as well as events like live music, market and fiestas. From there you are very well positioned to reach by car any beaches and villages in the island.
The rooms have been recently renovated and they are comfortable. There is also a small swimming pool with a nice recently renovated sun bed area. Breakfast is abundant and very good.
The staff is very friendly and nice. Thanks a lot to Anabel and her colleagues for having made my stay pleasant and fun!
We spent a very pleasant week in this apartment. There is a lovely large pool and a smaller one. Lots of trees and flowers, a supermarket and it is a short walk to local bars, it is in a wooded area and there did seem to be a lot of mosquitos. My wide gets bitten badly so if you are a person who attracts mosquitos you will need precautions. I would happily return. Tye area is beautiful and the hotel is professionally run.

The whole area feels artificial.
The whole area feels artificial. It’s all apartment complexes for tourists. Beach park Menorca is an especially ugly eyesore which ruins what would have been a beautiful rocky part of land. Lacks charm character and also there’s nothing to do so the worst of all worlds. The pictures looked so beautiful I was entirely disillusioned. This isn’t the first time I’ve been taken in by what seemed like a lovely place on to arrive and find it is nothing at all like the luxury I had expected. The staff at reception gave no helpful advice at all, just a map of the buildings so I could find my room. No advice on where to go or what to do. I like a light breakfast so I didn’t want to pay 20€ at any time when all I needed was a coffee. The room was supposed to have a coffee maker but it was just an old fashioned percolator and I’d have had to buy coffee separately as literally nothing provided in the room. Too hot to open windows but the room smelt bad and stuffy. Aircon smelt foul. I asked someone to see if we could move to a room with a view but they said the place was full. They said they’d check the aircon but they didn’t. Clearly having deceiving pictures works well for them as they still get business. I had been looking forward to the beautiful sun beds with the 4 poster drapes. Mostly the posts were broken off! The only ones still intact were cordoned off and part of the restaurant/bar.

The Son Parc area itself is fairly quiet, and is not particularly set up with a much in terms of commercial shops etc, so anything else needed, e.g. swimming costumes for children, should be purchased beforehand.
Small shops are dotted around that sell a little beach gear (towels, inflatables), tourist items and some food.
Our favourite place to visit was the beach, though this would be fairly empty on windy days due to the blowing sand.

right at the golf course, golf course wasn't to bussy, sandy beach near by (1.5km) Some basic shops and a few restaurants in the area. Easy to venture out if you like to see other parts of the Island. Pretty quiet at the time of the year we visited.

The only good part of son Parc is the beach.
The only good part of son Parc is the beach. Terrible commercial area with few restaurants and none open in October. BJs bar is the only decent place in the resort and the owners do everything they can to cater for the locals and tourists.

This is a quiet area on the North coast of the island.
This is a quiet area on the North coast of the island. All the properties are built within a park, so there is a lot of greenery and the occasional peacock crossing the road. Beaches can be reached on foot but will take 15-20mins walking depending on which one you choose.
The park is set 3-4km from the main road to Mahon so a hire car is recommended for getting around the island.
