Location of the hotel is great! Train station is just across. Accessible to restaurants, convenience stores, etc. There is an elevator to access the higher levels. The hotel has a restaurant which is convenient. Their shower is also nice which has something like a massage feature. Kettle and cups available inside the room.

I was only in Sarria for less than 2 days at the start of a camino walk to Santiago. It was a very interesting town with lovely old stone buildings, views, good cafes and restaurants and bars. very interesting historically.
Also a good spot for a bit of preparatory camino shopping — poles, shoes and other gear.

We thought Sarria would have a lot to offer since it is a major hub for Pilgrims. The historical section is so charming and has a handful of fun restaurants and hostels. Wish it had more boutique—like hotels b/c, otherwise, Sarria seems to lack charming housing options. There is a great store at the bottom of the hill as you are about to ascend up the infamous stairs to the historical section and out of town on with your walk. They have anything one would need for the Camino and there is a great pharmacy across the street as well.

My friend and I were on the Camino de Santiago and had booked this property. It is at the very top of the hill in Sarria away from any restaurants. The only choice is to go back down into the town. We arrived exhausted but were horrified when over 100 Italian students arrived on a bus. We took our things and left to find alternative accommodation closer the town. I requested a refund from Booking.com but the accommodation would not refund our stay despite us not staying there.
Great location as right beside starting point if doing the Camino. Hotel had tea/coffee facilities and use of kitchen which was great. Really friendly and kind host. Highly recommend
