First, I want to state that I have tried to work with this property for a fair resolution and they have shown no interest or concern for my well-being and safety. I had been in contact with the hotel several times BEFORE arrival. Things you should know: 1) there is no direct car access to the hotel without police permission 2) staff is not available 24/7 3) there are 2 hotels within blocks of each other with the same “Acebo” name. NONE OF THIS IS MENTIONED BEFORE BOOKING. After booking you will be told this.
I had written to the hotel to explain that I use supplemental oxygen due to injuries from Sept. 11th World Trade Center attack and needed to drive to drop off my luggage. This is when they told me I had to call the police to get access. Ridiculous. The police didn’t give me access. Why would they? I didn’t have a local SIM card due to work security limitations and they state they couldn’t contact me so it’s my fault. Horrible client service. I have ended up walking behind my ability and sleeping in my car because I couldn’t find another available room.
At no point did they disclose there are 2 hotels with the name Acebo. I was told to go to the Calle Mayor. I went to that hotel, but it appears their hotel is actually on Echeverría. Also, horrible customer service.
I have asked for a refund. They have refused and stated that it was my fault I didn’t arrive by their specific time (also not previously disclosed) and that they graciously waited even longer for me! Adding insult to injury.
They knew I was disabled and yet have shown no concern for my well-being and safety. Bad values and character of management.

Large room with exposed wooden beams.
A hidden gem in the Pyrenees. Such a beautiful hotel with a striking view over the ancient village of Santa Cruz de la Seros. If you are within 200 km you have to stay here. Well worth the extra time.
This hotel is set in a charming spot and it was a pleasure to return. Staff friendly and helpful. Dinner can be quite light if, like us, you so prefer.
