We booked this property for two main reasons;
1) As a family of 5 it provided us with enough beds for each of us, and having the two separate washrooms was a bonus.
2) The parking was included! We took the metro (across the street from apartment) into the heart of Barcelona, without having to drive in and park our rental car in an unsafe (underground) parking lot. (*consider this when researching Barcelona city parking as there are a lot of car-break-ins and theft).
What we appreciated;
On our flight from Zurich, the airline lost one of our luggages. Stephan helped to receive the luggage from the delivery service and place it in our room, as we were in the heart of Barcelona at that time. Such wonderful service! Thank you Stephan!
This place is comfortable and well equipped with everything you may need. Coffee shops, and grocery store close by.
URH Ciutat de Mataró is a 12-minute walk from Mataró's marina, on Catalunya’s Maresme Coast. It has a fitness center. All rooms at the URH Ciutat de Mataró have parquet floors and pale wood furniture....

Nice small hotel with perfect location, good rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was good, better than expected for such a price.

This beautiful house/hotel (a masia) is located in the mountains. The surroundings and views are astonishing. Our room was gorgeous and spacious. The entire house is beautifully decorated. The host was accommodating and friendly. We received breakfast in the morning. The grounds have a pool that looks like the pool of an early Hollywood starlet.
All in all, I strongly recommend Masia Vista Hermosa, and I hope to be back there one day.
Complains:
1. The very first moment my son went to toilet next to the door and he could not come out because the handle was not working properly, he was inside for 1 hour, then I told my kids, that do not use it and called the contact person to tell the owner the problem inorder to solve it, but it never happend. My douther also forgot and she got closed in toilet for about 1.5 hours.
2. Wifi was out of order
3. In big bedroom every 3 minutes there was a huge sound of air conditioner, and we could not sleep in that room.
We paied for the apartment, but we were not in comfort as we were promised.
There was not any compensation from the owner.

Seems to be a quiet residential area, not many tourists. Good place to stay if you want to take it easy. We booked at this location as it was fairly easy to travel to the F1 track. Our host sent us information on what is in the area, places to visit but we didn't have time to fully explore the area.

Vilassar is a small town next to the sea.
Vilassar is a small town next to the sea. It's really close to Barcelona and Mataró, so it's easy to get there and find anything you may need but places to stay have a more reasonable price. The beach itself is not that impressive but you can find several types of beach within a one hour drive. I'll recommend it for someone who doesnt really care about spectacular views and want's to be comfortable and relaxed or as a base for someone wanting to explore the costa brava small coves.

We truly enjoyed our holiday at Vilasarmalux II 🙂. The property is beautiful, had everything we need for a comfortable stay and also very clean. All the communication made with the property staff was very helpful, professional and without any delays. Vilassar de Mar is a real gem, a lovely city that we were happy to discover. The train station is a few minutes away from the property as well as the beach and local amenities.
The location of the apartment is excellent. The beach is in a few minutes walking distance. There are several shops, bars and restaurant around. The apartment is located in a late 19th century villa quarter. There is a train station in a 6-7 minutes walk, hence Barcelona center can be reached very easily. The apartment has air conditioner, the kitchen is well equipped.
The owners were very welcoming and the room & bathroom nice & clean. We were extremely happy, that the restaurant in the hotel was open. Exactly what you want after a long day… When we got our food we were just overwhelmed!! It was exceptional 😃 The seafood (and we have tried a lot) was one of the best (Dorade supreme!!)
Great apartment, everything was as at the photos. Special thanks to the owner who was always in touch and promptly solved all the issues that arose. We would like to come back again
