Location was excellent. Rooms are dated, furniture stained, door between rooms in our suite was really hard to open maintance told us to use only one side. Hotel doesn't have a full time restaurant or room service. Breakfast buffett, and 4 nights of bar/snack shop as I understood open 1.5 hours. Staff is friendly. Cleaning staff is accommodating.
Hotel Alicante Gran Sol, affiliated by Meliá is just 984 feet from Alicante’s Postiguet Beach, and offers wonderful city and sea views. It has a 24-hour reception and free Wi-Fi in all areas.

The only good thing was location. The room had a balcony but there wasn't any chair to sit.
Estudiotel Alicante's spacious rooms offer free Wi-Fi. It is located by the Bulevar Plaza Shopping Center, yards from El Corte Inglés Department Store.

- Central location
- Clean room
- Comfortable mattresses
- Room spacious enough for a longer stay
Wonderful welcome; designated underground parking space although entrance would have been narrow if we had rented a bigger car; lovely apartment- everything we needed. A short walk to bars and restaurants, the supermarket was very handy and just a few minutes walk. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the pool because of the poor weather. Loved that the area was not a tourist destination-we liked the local feel of the area.

TerribLe!
The air conditioning was a joke!
TerribLe!
The air conditioning was a joke! We stayed there in mid-July, so the room was hot and stuffy despite the so-called air conditioning being turned on. No use opening the window, either. We were on the second floor, and it was just too noisy.
Conclusion: It was one of our worst nights yet!

We had been robbed on the motorway 20 mins before arriving at hotel. The duty receptionist, Beatrix Dominguez, advised we go straight to the police. Her English was excellent so she phoned and explained what had happened. She calmed me down, was extra caring and kind and she made what was a horrible experience more bearable. My husband and I can't thank her enough for being 'her' as she is such an asset to the hotel. We wish this lovely young lady the very successful career she deserves.
The hotel was as described it was clean , had a great pool and was very very quiet . Sunbathing was peaceful and the building it self is historical. It’s very close the the hospital which has great public transport links and a taxi rank. For the budget traveller who wants a swimming pool and a finca experience this is the place . It’s not a five star tower of veneer but a nice real value for money experience.
The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were lovely.
I would happily stay here again.
We are used to a minimum 4 star hotel yet this lovely little hotel proves ratings aren't everything and is a credit to its owner and staff.
Very clean and a good location from the Airport (around 25mins). Also, the closest beach El Campello and Muchavista tram stop is a 25-30min walk from the hotel, which can get you to Alicante Centre and other places for €1.45.
The room was spacious, larger than expected and were friendly and helpful. It's not a new hotel but its value for the price. Good spot to stay overnight if travelling north after a late flight arrival.
